Have to say, I was a little reticent to read this one. I've listened to the radio play version for years and it always ticked me off! I'm glad I got over myself, because this is a damn good book! While told by a fictional character, it is based int he actual events and the fictional narrator is based on an actual crew member of the Bounty and his story. It really contains quite a lot of everything. It's an adventure story, it's a love story, it's history-it truly has something for everyone! I can't beleive I waited this long to read it!
