I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this memoir, but I went along for the ride...and what a ride! Mr. Rush's writing style, honesty and poetic language were engaging and enthralling. A mess of a family life, a total mess of a childhood, lead to life altering experiences, some good, a LOT not good, and a sense of hope. A fascinating and moving read to start my year!
