I am lucky enough to have received this before it is published, so I'm here to tell you you're going to love this new series by Maddie Day! Cece Barton, a recent transplant to a quaint Northern California town, runs a wine bar and unfortunately, gets tangled up in a murder investigation. Full of self doubt, with a daughter with whom she's not on great terms, Cece surprises herself by being instrumental in helping to catch a killer; and shows us the importance of Pilates for one's survival! A beautiful locale, wonderful characters and superbly plotted, you're going to want to grab a glass of your favorite wine and curl up with this exceptional cozy! (I also highly recommend reading Christmas Mitten Murders by Lee Hollis/Lynn Cahoon/Maddie Day which includes Cece's origin story-it's due to be published in September, a month before Murder Uncorked is published).
