A really interesting concept to set most of the action in modern times and in a hospital. The idea of having the other half of the action play out as a movie that Lear is watching from his hospital room, didn't work as well, on paper. If this is ever staged it might be more obvious how it works, but I didn't really get it from the script. Still one of my favorite Shakespeare plays and I did like the new way of approaching it.
