Death Sets Sail By: Dale E. Manolakas

I really like Manolakas' first book in this series so I was excited to dive into this one...unfortunately, it's a bit of a mess.  I didn't find a great deal of the plot points credible, and the ending wasn't satisfying to me.  Yet despite these points, I really like Veronica Kennicott as a character and it was great fun to read.
