I am shocked to say that I wasn't thrilled with this one. I normally love DeMille's work, but this one, for me fell far short of his usual high calibre work. The first 200 pages where filled with repetitive information that the reader already is aware of, and it was blatantly obvious what was happening, so there wasn't anywhere for the story to go. I only stuck through it because I was hoping for a major twist that would have made the reading worth it...but alas...no such luck. Totally predictable, repetitive and lacked any sense of urgency or surprise.
