OMG!!!! Having feelings! Even the acknowledgements made me weepy! I adored this lovely novel! Liz is vying for Prom Queen, but not for the reasons you'd assume-let the High School angst begin! Set in a burb of Indianapolis, Liz gets everything thrown at her within a 6 week period-and the pure joy of reading this is that Liz doesn't feel sorry for herself-she may bemoan her current circumstances, but she meets each obstacle head one in her own way and on her own terms! It's been a long while sine I've felt I had someone to root for-but it was oh so easy to root for Liz! OMG! I just LOVED this book!
