A really original prompt was the impetus for this new short crime story, that my friend was asked to write for an upcoming anthology. The prompt required lyrics of a song to be incorporated into a crime story, and my friend has brilliantly interwoven the lyrics into a tightly and creatively plotted story. She has also managed to put in plenty of twists for such a short piece. Can't wait to read the whole anthology and see how the other stories handled the prompt!
