A missing aid work in the Ukraine, sets off the action in Dead Fall, and oh, what action. Thor manages to give his reader exposition and information for the majority of his books and wraps up all of the related story lines within the last 50 pages. In the hands of a lesser writer, this would be incredibly boring for the reader, not to mention infuriating; but once you've started a book by Brad Tor you just hold on and enjoy the ride and are all the better for it!
